Choosing a shaft adaptor for a repair / shaft or head change can be tricky as there are so many models out there. At OnlineProShopUK, we do everything that we can to make sure that you can easily select the correct adaptor.

From the menu at the top of the page, click on the "Shaft adaptors" drop down menu and select the brand of head that you want the adaptor to fit, from here you will have a narrowed down selection of adaptors. On each product page, you will see a list of compatible heads. Keep in mind that some heads are released in series of models (eg. Taylormade M2 & M2 D-Type are both just considered to be a M2) so just look for the series of head that you are using.

Once you know the correct adaptor model, you need to make sure that you buy the correct size. The size of the adaptor refers to the internal diameter of the adaptor measured in inch's. The majority of modern driver or Fairway wood shafts are a .335" tip diameter so you need a .335 adaptor for these. Some driver or fairway wood shafts have a .350" tip and we try to stock these in popular adaptor models. Hybrid adaptors are generally .370" so the hybrid adaptors will (Almost) always only be made in a .370. Some Utility irons with adjustability will take a .355" taper shaft (eg. Cobra Utility irons). Be aware of some driver & fairway wood shafts sharing the same adaptor model (eg. Taylormade and Ping) and some Fairway wood and hybrids share adaptors (Titleist) but although the Titleist woods and hybrids share an adaptor, the hybrid shaft is almost always going to have a .370 tip so you would need to still get the size right.

If you cannot find the correct adaptor for your requirements, please send a message via the contact us link at the bottom of this page and tell us which head and shaft you want an adaptor for and we will point you in the right direction.
